The Facility
Located on 60 acres in the Chemung River Valley, we offer everything
a horse owner could want.
There are two outdoor rings. A large oval grass ring and a smaller
dirt ring. The "Big Ring" always has a full course of jumps set to practice for shows, and the "Small Ring" contains
a gymnastic or two for strengthening the basics of horse and rider.
Our indoor arena is 80' x 136' and just had new sand footing put in as
well as having the roof replaced.
Another project in the works is an old fashoned outside course complete
with bank jump, grob, ditch, coop,logs, and maybe a water jump.
At Wolfden Farm we believe that time out of the stall is extremely
important for the mental and physical well being of the horse. We have seven large pastures and six smaller paddocks
to ensure that each animal gets as much time out as possible. Each turnout area has it's own shed so that there is shelter
from the elements if necessary.
Our fencing has been upgraded. The perimeter
is now 4' Ramm fencing with 2 strands of electric and the interior is either doweled four rail, or split three rail.
All lines of interior paddocks have one strand of hotwire across the top rail to keep the horses where they belong.
There is a creek running along the back side of the property, and plenty of places to
ride outside of the ring for human and equine "downtime". There are trails around the fields and along the creek as
well.
We recently bought five additional acres next door and installed fencing and run-in sheds for the five
pastures we put in. This allows for better rotation of the fields and more options for differing personalities.

Boarding Services
Horses boarded at Wolfden Farm receive daily turnout, stalls cleaned, and
are fed hay and grain two times a day. Feedings are customized to the individual animal and their dietary needs.

Training board is available and is tailored to suit the horse. Sabra
has over 25 years in backing youngsters as well as fixing problems and retraining OTTB's.
Boarders receive discounts on lessons and professional rides.
