Mandarin 1972-2000
Our breeding stock is mostly
based on get of our former foundation stallion Mandarin, who himself was a national champion in the Conformation Hunters
as well as being nationally ranked in the Junior Jumpers.
He had a great sense of humor and was a gentle, yet
firm teacher to many. His intelligence and personality combined with good looks and the versatility to do
both the Hunters as well as the Jumpers (sometimes at the same show) made Mandarin a "horse of
a lifetime".
Mandate - Frozen semen only.
Mandarin lives on through his son and successor,
Mandate. Mandate (by Mandarin, out of Annie Rhythmic) showed successfully in the Pre-Green
division, consistently in the ribbons in Florida and at HITS Saugerties. He did the First Year Green
Working Hunters and Level 3 jumpers sucessfully in 2006. 2007 consisted of another season in the jumper ring.
In 2008 we have gone back to the Hunter ring and will be gelded soon.
Mandate is only available via frozen semen at this point. Since he will
gelded soon and I have limited quantities, I will be offering frozen semen at $1000/dose with no LFG at this point.
His first three crops have arrived!!! See the Broodmares/youngstock
and foals of 2007 and 2008 pages. Stallion packet is available, but needs to be updated when he gets back in the
ring after gelding.
